TO MY BABY GIRL In my baby’s eyes I see thine reflection I look to the horizon Never, has it seemed clearer In them I find my way; Will and strength to forge ahead She paves my path Giving reason to tomorrow Her smile brighter than the sun Shedding light to an even brighter future I know this why? I wonder in between chuckles when she laughs Or, from the innocent gaze and childish giggles She has faith Faith enough for both of us For me that is about all, the assurance I need To trudge on, fight even if be need I believe in her believe, her believe in me Because of her i live she, lives because of me Our paths defined We strive to live for both of us
